We are wired. As a lightweaver I love the connection technology provides and I also have noticed a massive change to my vitality as I’ve unhooked myself with these practices, so I can have a healthy relationship with technology.
I noticed a MAJOR shift in my wellbeing when covid hit and I was no longer spending my days in a highly wired office environment and embarked on a journey into EMFs – the electric and magnetic fields that are invisible areas of energy, often called radiation, which has the potential for cellular and DNA damage. Avoid technology in bedrooms! Keep your room a sacred, safe space free from gadgets!
Turn off wifi at night and hardwire when possible!
IRIS tech (https://iristech.co/) for your computer is a software you can use to put a blue light filter on your computer! I’m not an affiliate, just a fan.
Short-wave blue light emits high energy which can cause damaging effects over time including cataracts, dry eyes (part of my journey), and age-related macular degeneration. Blue light can also impair melatonin secretion, which disrupts that circadian rhythm we talked about protecting!
Limiting blue light reduces eye strain, migraines, tension in your head, and so much more! Wearing blue blockers (those funny yellow, orange or red lenses) before sunrise, and after sunset also helps protect your body in the same way from artificial light!
Avoid 5G, if you can! You can usually change this in settings!
Set all screens to red! This can usually be found in the accessibility settings of your devices and can help in the same way blue light blockers can! Search for a YouTube video, if you don’t know how to do this! If your kiddos use devices for school, highly recommend a red screen for them too.
Minimize artificial light! I love using beeswax candles around my home after sundown to provide warm, glowy light that isn’t artificial.
No earbuds please! Use EMF blocking Airtubes to limit radiation to the brain! Protect your energy!
When working, if possible, work by an open window. If that’s not possible, take earthing/light breaks throughout the day! Staying cooped up inside all day isn’t good for your energy.
Protecting your energy is the best way to biohack yourself to a better life. We are empathetic, connected people, so our subconscious mode of operation is to absorb all the energy around us, ALL the time! But it’s okay to set boundaries for ourselves, so we can best protect our own energy, and avoid the negative! Before you leave the house put yourself in a high frequency bubble of golden white light to start your day!
