Breathwork 8 Week Course



Guidance in how to bring mindfulness and kindness to experience so we can ‘live well’ with a free and relaxed mind, whatever the circumstances. The Breathworks approach is grounded in compassionate awareness, with a gentle, gradual transformation of our relationship to all our life experiences, including our pain or difficulty.
In the sessions, participants will be guided through exercises featured in the best selling “Mindfulness for Health ” book by Vidyalma Burch and Danny Penman.
The course itself requires twenty minutes of meditation per day, in addition to a little reading every week, and a weekly session with an experienced and accredited Breathworks teacher.
The sessions will consist of twenty hours of class time over the eight weeks, including guided meditation, in-depth teaching on the practices and techniques, discussion, opportunities for questions, and help with your home practice.
This course is inclusive of all people with all kinds of characteristics and experience, suitable but not limited to those living with pain, a health condition that is big or small, short- term or long term, diagnosed or undiagnosed, in recovery or caring for others.
Breathworks Mindfulness for Health courses have helped many people living with injuries such as whiplash, chronic back pain, Athrittis, Diabetes, Fibromyalgia, Chronic fatigue, Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, ME, Parkinsons, Neuropathy and many other health conditions.

About the Vendor

Your coach is Lisa Kennedy, an experienced accredited Breathworks teacher who has trained with Breathworks to teach their Mindfulness for Health and Mindfulness for Stress eight week courses.
She meets the requirements for The Good Practice Guidance for teaching Mindfulness based courses, has a personal meditation practice since 2015, attends silent meditation retreats and has regular supervision from an experienced meditation mentor.
Additionally, Lisa is a certified Iyengar Yoga teacher since 2001 and an accredited Forest bathing guide, facilitating mindfulness in Nature programmes and retreats in Ireland.
